Position: Digital Assets & Infrastructure Archivist

Sharon Dovas is responsible for the preservation and accessibility of art, document, email and calendar assets related to the film production process and Pixar’s history. She works closely with the studio’s production and technical teams to ensure that in-house DAM systems are built and used in ways that ensure longterm searchability and retrieval of assets for reuse and inspiration. In addition, she designs infrastructure tools used to track and provide access to Pixar’s physical artworks and artifacts as well as book and film reference collections. Prior to Pixar, she worked as a radio producer, technology trainer and quality assurance engineer. Sharon holds an MLIS with a focus on Archives from San Jose State University.
