Kathryn Gronsbell is a preservation specialist focusing on audiovisual archiving, digital preservation, and metadata management. She is the Digital Asset Manager at Carnegie Hall, and has consulted for organizations and individuals seeking strategic approaches to managing materials and data. Some of her current activities include co-chairing the Association of Moving Image Archivist’s Independent Media Committee, helping develop a scalable framework for collection metadata assessment with the Digital Library Federation Metadata Interest Group, and supporting students and local communities through archiving workshops. She holds a M.A. in Moving Image Archiving & Preservation from New York University.
