Rick leads the digital asset management team at the University of Georgia (UGA) Division of Marketing & Communications, serving the institution’s strategic brand, communications and marketing professionals. Rick began his DAM journey accidentally over 30 years ago by creating a flat-file database to catalog film assets. He currently oversees a DAM collection topping 1.25 million assets.
Rick uses his past experience in photography, communications and database management to create DAM workflows that maximize the marketing team’s creative talent and minimize its metadata and administrative burden. He is a proud graduate of UGA’s Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication.
