With a history spanning nearly nine decades, Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE is a household name around the globe. Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) and UN Messenger of Peace, Goodall has become a global voice for climate change and biodiversity protection through community-led conservation after her decades of scientific animal behavior research.
In recent years, her namesake organization, JGI, underwent a major digital transformation to modernize its tech stack and processes. Central to this was a DAM solution to manage over 100TBs of digital content, covering scientific research, historic assets, marketing materials and video footage. Today, Jane Goodall Institute USA leverages DAM and advanced AI tools to manage over 1 million assets – providing unprecedented protection and management of Jane’s work and extending JGI’s mission across the globe.
In this session, Shawn Sweeney, Associate Vice President of Communications & Partnerships at JGI USA, will share a detailed workflow of how JGI uses DAM and AI features to:
• Streamline access to field footage, expediting scientific observations and wildlife conservation
• Enable the reuse of footage from Jane’s presentations, speaking engagements and podcasts to accelerate time-to-market for global marketing campaigns
• Scale the JGI brand globally with central management of globally distributed assets
Shawn will also share a downloadable template for information architecture, attribute and user governance planning and management as thank you for all who attend.
