Matt Westrup has been Vice President of Operations since March 2016 when he joined A+E Networks UK, joined the Senior Leadership Team in May 2019 and has been part of the EMEA leadership team since its creation in November 2019. He is responsible for the operations, technology and teams that manage the content and delivers the channel and digital portfolio across the EMEA territories. He manages media operations, localisation, post production, engineering and distribution as well as delivering technology-led projects and change across the business. A+E Networks UK brands include HISTORY®, Crime+Investigation®, BLAZE®, History2® and Lifetime®.

Previous to joining A+E Networks UK he led the operations teams at Scripps Networks Interactive EMEA and before that at Travel Channel International. He began working in media operations 10 years ago  after having worked for 15 years in factual television production as a Camera Operator and Director.
