Curationist brings together over 14 million open access art images from museum collections all around the world – making them searchable in a single online platform. To create this platform, the team has taken an iterative approach, not only to metadata and taxonomy creation but also to community development. This was to ensure that both the database structure and the community policies best reflect the needs of the user base and the broader Open GLAM fields.
