Mindy Carner

Mindy Carner is a metadata specialist with a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. She started her career as the Taxonomy and Search Specialist for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) before moving on to her current firm at Optimity Advisors in the Information Management practice. Mindy has worked on diverse information projects such as enterprise search, content governance, metadata model development, digital asset management, web content governance, and archiving. She has engaged in data analysis for various projects related to metadata and search. Mindy consistently engages in thought leadership by giving workshops, speaking at conferences, and publishing white papers and blogs. She recently contributed two chapters to the book Inform, Transform, and Outperform: Digital Content Strategies to Optimize Your Business for Growth.
