Embrie Ann Beamon is a dynamic operations leader with a diverse global background and a passion for both fashion and creative production. A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, she pursued her academic interests at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in International Studies and Japanese. Embrie’s career journey took her to Japan, where she worked as an English teacher under the prestigious J.E.T. Programme, immersing herself in the culture and strengthening her Japanese language skills before returning to the U.S. to further her education at Parsons School of Design The New School, specializing in Fashion Marketing.
After graduating, Embrie began her professional career in retail, joining Neiman Marcus in Dallas, Texas, where she honed her expertise in buying. Her keen eye for trends and business acumen soon led her back to her home state of North Carolina, where she joined VF Corporation as a merchandising specialist for the Wrangler brand. Over the next several years, Embrie became a key player in the company’s ecommerce strategy, leveraging her merchandising expertise to drive growth and innovation.
Her true passion for production emerged during her time in the Wrangler photo studio, where she saw an opportunity to combine her merchandising skills with her creativity. Seizing the moment, Embrie transitioned into a leadership role, ultimately becoming the head of Wrangler and Lee’s Photo Studio Operations team. Now, with over 6 years in this pivotal role, she leads a talented team of 11 members, championing both creative excellence and operational efficiency.
