Tyra Hanshaw is a seasoned creative production executive with deep experience in production management spanning multiple disciplines. She has produced countless projects across commercial advertising, broadcast promotions, and digital marketing and has held positions in a diverse group of media, advertising, and production companies.
In her most recent role at Audible, she oversaw creative asset development and execution for Brand and Audiobook Originals and Podcasts Marketing Campaigns. As Executive Producer of the AMC Networks Content Room, an award-winning Branded Entertainment Studio, Tyra led teams of creators, producers, designers, and project managers tasked with thoughtfully crafting stories connecting AMC Networks’ premier content with premium consumer brands and products. She oversaw the creative production of branded content, long and short-form digital originals, and brand partnerships, working closely with AMC Networks’ commercial revenue and partnerships team.
Tyra is actively committed to mentoring and creating inclusive and equitable workplaces and supporting the amplication of diverse voices to create meaningful and authentic content. She currently serves as Co-Director of the Mentoring Committee for FutureNow, a leadership incubator focused on building future leaders in Media and Entertainment and has served as a Guest Mentor for the New School’s Media MFA program.
Tyra is a member of the Television Academy and the National Association For Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). She is an alum of the NAMIC Executive Leadership and Development Program, XIX Class and a graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz.
