Davide Macchi is an experienced service designer and innovation manager with hands-on expertise in orchestrating complex product-service systems across multiple sectors and international organisations. His work adopts a holistic approach to service design, extending beyond concept development and initial delivery into Operations Design, where operations are recognised as a key source of value, enhancing both internal team effectiveness and the overall customer experience.

Passionate about the intersection of design and organisational dynamics, Davide has also contributed to the field of change management by developing one of the first experimental dissertations focused on the construction of organisational frameworks for designing operations. He presented the results of his research at the Design Operations Conference in London in 2024. In recent years, he has been deeply engaged in the field of AI, working as a program manager on the development of AIOps initiatives within a dedicated business unit in Atlas Reply, and integrating service design into operations management to create more efficient, adaptable, and human-centred operational ecosystems.
