Ali Hanan is the founder of Creative Equals, now an award-winning organisation working across the globe to drive equity, inclusion, and diversity. In her former life, she worked as a Creative Director in the advertising and marketing sector for 18 years on some of the world’s biggest brands, including Dulux, Guinness, Ford, IKEA, British Airways (and more) at some of its leading agencies.
Her team believes in delivering a return on inclusion for humanity, brands, and the communities they serve. The company works with all kinds of organisations, including Philips, Pepsico/Walkers, Mars, McDonald’s, ABI In-Bev and more. To drive better representation behind the camera, Creative Equals launched CreativeComeback with Diageo and training provider D&AD, originally funded by the UK Government Equalities Office.
The programme is now global, running in NYC and scheduled to run in Mumbai and Australia in 2021. In 2023 the focus is on disability. Creative Equals works across the industry, partnering with the IPA, IAB, WFA, ISBA, WACL and more.
