After her BA in East Asian Studies, Irene moved to South Korea and then the Netherlands. She then obtained an MSc in Library and Information Management from City University, London, with a dissertation on the information seeking behaviour of Korean Studies researchers. She has a broad range of experiences, from UK National Museums and Libraries to SaaS and PropTech startups, always applying and combining her love of technology with her passion for end-user support.
Since 2021, Irene has been the first line of support for DAM users while being responsible for DAM training at the V&A, alongside the onboarding of museum staff to a new DAM user interface. Her interests include UX in digital libraries, open access in GLAM and information retrieval behaviour in digital environments.
