The Changing Digital Landscape – Why We Must Have a Forward-Thinking Agile and Creative Approach to Enhance the User-Experience and Better Workflows

February 9, 4:05 PM EST

The Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) DAM is being implemented within a changing internal digital landscape of evolving needs. The DAM’s workflow development takes a forward-thinking approach that questions how it can support the advancement of the CCA’s digital ambitions.

There are many questions including:

  • How can the DAM processes ensure digital images are replaced if they do not meet newer standards?
  • How can the DAM integrate within new and exciting AI initiatives?
  • How will new technology support the digital asset requirements of a not-yet-developed new website?

Elspeth Cowell, Head, Digital Media at the Canadian Centre for Architecture will share balancing automating workflows within the DAM with communication outside the DAM in many cross-functioning teams. Using examples currently under-development at the CCA, Elspeth will look at how workflows can be designed to consider not only current needs, but emerging future ones as well.
