DAM and Museums 2025

Adrian has worked in data and digitization roles in the museum sector for 18 years. In his current role at the Science Museum Group (SMG) he is head of collections data, digitization and digital preservation.

Through his career he has overseen large-scale ‘end-to-end’ digitization workflows for natural history, object and photography collections. He is passionate about opening up museum collections by making them digitally accessible to online audiences. He is especially interested in modernising collections management and digitization approaches through the use of object barcoding, smart technology solutions and the interoperability of Collections Information Systems.
