Alyson Pope is a program officer with the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR), where she supports the Recordings at Risk and Digitizing Hidden Special Collections grant programs, and assists the Operations Team with events, contracts, and logistics. Her professional interests include cultural heritage, DEI, community data and data analytics, and system logistics. Prior to joining CLIR, she spent a decade in academic libraries as a post-graduate librarian at Duquesne University and later a public services head at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, specializing in information literacy and instructional design, research, outreach, and special events.
