Kelsey Monahan

Placer County Museums Division

Kelsey is the Curator of Archives for the Placer County Museums Division, located in the foothills of Northern California. The division serves as the official repository for historic County records and also houses a diverse collection of objects, photographs, and archival materials from private donors. In her role, Kelsey is responsible for the preservation, cataloging, and digitization of the County's records and photographs as well as making them accessible to the public and County staff.

Previously Kelsey worked as a contractor for museum collections such as the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame, the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, and the Smithsonian National Postal Museum.
