DAM and Collections Management for Cultural Heritage 2026

Natalie Golding is a senior public servant with more than 20 years' experience in the UK. She was most recently Chief Operating Officer of the Payment Systems Regulator, before which she was Director of the Leadership College for Government, supporting senior civil servants and public sector leaders through executive development programmes and peer networks. After beginning her career in policy, with roles in several departments including the Foreign Office and the Department for Culture, Media & Sport, Natalie led the Department for Transport's crisis management team, before taking up an executive role at the UK Space Agency. She has also served as Chief of Staff to two Permanent Secretaries, most recently the Chief Operating Officer of the UK Civil Service in the Cabinet Office. Since 2022, she has been a Trustee of the Collections Trust, supporting museums with best practice in collections management.
