The Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) will share the challenges and solutions when implementing a DAM system to support diverse digital asset needs in a research-driven environment.
The CCA is an international research institution and museum premised on the belief that architecture is a public concern. To support this mission, we:
- Produce: exhibitions, publications and films
- Develop and share our collection as a resource
- Advance research
- Offer public programs
- Host a range of other activities
In this session we examine the implementation of a DAM system to manage digital assets, which contribute to, result from, and document all these activities. The system handles multiple ingest pipelines and workflows, disparate metadata needs and diverse end uses.
