Matt has international media industry experience having worked with consulting firms, tech start-ups, public cloud vendors, and operational roles within content owners like Virgin Media. He is a recognised industry advisor in data strategy, machine learning, digital operating models, and content supply chains.
Matt has led DAM / MAM vendor evaluations and implementations for publishers, broadcasters, and studios around the world. He led the technical design and delivery of an award-winning consumer platform for Sky News’s coverage of the Royal Wedding in 2018 – a world first for live facial recognition.
Matt holds an Executive MBA, has written several white papers, and is the co-host of the Totally Content podcast. In his spare time, Matt spends most weekends in archives researching entertainment during the Second World War, and his first book will be published by The History Press in August 2026.
