DAM Los Angeles 2024

After 20 years working in museums and archives, Cristin recentered her career to embrace DAM full time in 2022. She completed her DAM Certificate from Rutgers and began the role of Platform Owner, DAM & PIM at Kidde Fire & Security. In that role, Cristin has been building both DAM and PIM programs from the ground up, integrating the two systems, aligning and optimizing their respective data models, taxonomies, and metadata standards.

Cristin leads DAM training and shepherds user adoption across cross-functional teams. Having started as part of the Digital team under Marketing/CX, she is now part of the core team comprising the Master Data COE organization for Kidde’s residential fire safety business. Cristin has built up her knowledge and practice around metadata, data governance, taxonomies, and many aspects of digital asset management and product information management over nearly two decades.
