John has over 15 years of digital asset management experience in the entertainment, non-profit, and biotech industries. Currently, John is the Senior Manager of DAM System Operations at Showtime Networks, where he manages the company's enterprise-wide DAM system. He also is responsible for the ingestion, curation, and distribution of all assets that include videos, audio, images, documents, captions, and subtitles.
 
John has overseen multiple DAM system implementations, managed high volume migration projects, and has designed a digital rights management system. He has extensive expertise in metadata, taxonomy, and workflow management. 
 
John is passionate about staying on top of the latest technology and trends. He strives to automate or semi-automate workflows whenever possible, especially in today's environment that demands "doing more with less."
