Erik Almlie is the Digital Asset Systems Administrator for the Oakland Museum of California. He was responsible for the initial needs assessment and DAMS vendor selection for the Oakland Museum of California, and is currently the technical specialist in a team of three administering OMCA’s DAMS and collection management system (CMS). Initially trained in Industrial Design, Erik was drawn into the field of digital asset management early on, resulting in a career spanning 22 years of researching, building, and maintaining complete enterprise-level digital asset management systems for museums and the performing arts.
