DAM Los Angeles 2026

Saba Moghtader is the Digital Asset Coordinator at the Oakland Museum of California. As one of three on the team, she has helped usher in the development and onboarding of the institution's internal DAMS. She works closely with museum departments to facilitate the transition of their (non-collection) digital assets from siloed servers, the cloud, and external drives to the DAMS. She is also developing workflows and policies related to metadata capture, data retention, and DAMS administration and governance to ensure that assets are correctly uploaded, stored, and findable with ease.

In tandem with her work at OMCA, Saba is completing an MLIS at San Jose State University. Her work is also informed by working at art institutions in Canada and California, a BFA from OCAD University, and an MA from Toronto Metropolitan University, with a specialization in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management.
