Katie Dow is an MBA graduate of Kennesaw State University in Georgia and has been working at The Coca-Cola Company in the Digital Asset Management space for nine years. As part of the Global IT function, her time at Coca-Cola has been split between performing as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and most recently the “Metadata Lady” for DMeX (Coca-Cola’s global DAM system). As the Metadata Steward for DMeX, Katie is responsible for defining and maintaining DMeX’s metadata strategy, mapping metadata from legacy systems/integration points to DMeX’s schema, and consulting/sharing best practices with other teams at Coca-Cola who are undergoing their own metadata optimization efforts. Outside of work, Katie loves to spend time with her friends, family, and her two furry sons (Steven and Frankie).
