Digital Asset Management systems are set up to improve ROI of digital assets, so it stands to reason that a DAM system should show asset ROI once it has been in place for a while.
But that simply isn't the case.
There is a cost to creating assets and DAM does not capture this. Assets make their returns by being used in the market, and DAMs often do not capture this either.
So how do you show the ROI of your assets through DAM?
By asking the right questions ahead of time and setting up targeted integrations with the upstream and downstream systems that can paint the whole picture of an asset's lifecycle and its ROI.
