Wendy is a Senior Photo Specialist at World Wildlife Fund, where she co-manages WWF’s global digital asset management system, the HIVE, with colleagues in the US, UK, and Singapore. She oversees the full lifecycle of U.S. photographic assets – from pre-shoot planning with photographers to archiving retired images.

Blending photography, technology, and organization, Wendy ensures that assets are high-quality, accessible, and easy to find. She leads trainings for users and administrators, shapes policy as part of the DAM governance team, and is always looking for ways to improve user experience. She provides key reports and metrics to support strategic decisions, and curates imagery that helps bring WWF’s mission to life – a mix of creativity, structure, and collaboration that she finds deeply rewarding.

Wendy brings a strong foundation in systems thinking, holding a master’s degree in Linguistics with a focus on language systems analysis – a background that fuels her passion for metadata and database management.

Before joining WWF, she spent several years at beloved New York film archive and cinema, Anthology Film Archives, where she cultivated her love of archives and library management.
