Brian Duchek is a veteran UX designer, recovering front-end developer, and design operations leader with over 20 years of experience in a variety of things "digital". Having sampled other careers in classical music, audio engineering and botanical logistics, he's currently enamoured with maturing the design-ops practice at DocuSign.
In addition to his work in the technology industry, Brian is an active mentor and advisor to youth programs & startups. Easily excited about new ideas and anything that helps measure the ephemeral and intangible work of design and product experience, he loves to build-to-learn, and to demonstrate that the person making the most mistakes is out-learning everyone else.
He lives in the outskirts of Chicago, near the source of high-energy neutrinos being fired through the earth at South Dakota, and plays bassoon with a local community orchestra, where playing Appalachian Spring almost always makes him tear up.
