Design Operations Symposium 2022

Frances Yllana is a design and organizational operations leader, writer and facilitator who empowers and champions people to succeed beyond their own expectations. Frances is energized by making the joy of accomplishment more accessible and equitable, so those in the communities she serves can find and share their own inspiration to drive positive change in the world around them.

Since 2001, Frances Yllana has been building and evolving her skills to best lead, manage and grow the team members she serves. Her wide range of experience from branding, advertising and UX design for agencies to consulting and design operations for enterprise software to non-profit management, visioning, strategy, and coaching led her to join Coforma in early 2022 as their first Design Operations manager, where she is proud to support and empower Coforma’s teams and partners in the government and private sector to craft creative digital solutions and build technology products that improve people’s lives. She is active in multiple communities of practice and passion, including serving on AIGA’s National Board of Directors, and hosting AIGA’s monthly webinar series DesignOps Ed, and guiding professionals new to DesignOps as a professor for the DesignOps Assembly Learning Labs.
