Kim Johnson is the manager of Digital Asset Operations for Hilton Worldwide. In her current role, Kim managed the migration of digital assets across the enterprise during the implementation of Hilton’s new DAM and was instrumental in helping to build a foundation for Hilton’s omni-channel approach to content. With over 20 years of experience working with photographers from photo styling to digital retouching, Kim has managed assets across multiple disciplines with and without the use of a DAM. In her 10 years at Hilton, Kim has been responsible for managing numerous projects and people, she played a key role in the relaunch of the company’s website in 2012 and is currently working with her team on the launch of Hilton’s new website.
During her tenure Kim has acted as trainer for the website workflow, DAM and CMS, and has created hundreds of training documents, guidelines, and videos. Kim serves on the vocabulary governance committee, is the Assistant Editor in Chief of the Operations & Strategy content website, and recently worked on the decommission of Hilton’s old DAM and the integration of the new DAM with the global web CMS.
