Carly Stone is the Co-Founder and MD of Madam Films, one of the UK’s leading production service companies. Prior to launching MADAM in 2013, she was MD of Crossroads Films UK, the sister company to the long-established Crossroads Films US and began her career in London at industry-leading Cowboy Films. Throughout her 25 year career she has executive produced for director icon Mike Leigh and travelled extensively shooting in multiple global territories across a wide range of formats and sectors. A passion for industry mentoring and education, Carly champions for fair and inclusive behaviours and sits on the board of Green The Bid additionally teaching students budgeting at both the IPA and APA. In 2024, Carly became certied in Environmental Sustainability and The Carbon Literacy Project, leading to the creation of Planet Positive Production (PPP). A consultancy service specialising in tailored workshops to those organisations aiming to expand, develop, and educate their teams on how to produce sustainably. PPP services include carbon budgeting, AdGreen metric measuring and advisory tools to foster long-lasting positive change across the three pillars of Sustainable Development.
