Kay Swift is an accomplished Chief Information Officer (CIO) and seasoned technology executive with over 25 years of proven leadership in digital transformation, strategic planning, and technology innovation across diverse sectors including media, legal, public, and higher education. Kay's distinguished career is marked by her ability to align cutting-edge technology solutions with organizational objectives, drive meaningful cultural change, and lead high-performing, diverse teams to achieve exceptional business outcomes.

Kay most recently served in executive technology leadership roles at renowned organizations including Penske Media, Marshall Dennehey, Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, Stevens Institute of Technology, and Rutgers University. In these positions, she spearheaded transformative initiatives such as complex cloud migrations, strategic mergers and acquisitions, and the implementation of enterprise-wide governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. Her innovative leadership resulted in significant cost efficiencies, enhanced cybersecurity posture, and improved digital employee experiences.

Kay is a 2025 CIO100 award recipient; Philadelphia ORBIE CIO nominee; Stevens Institute of Technology – President’s Tech Award recipient; Rutgers University – President’s Recognition Award recipient.

She is also on the Executive Advisory Board for AWS Media & Publishing and Lightspeed Venture Partners; an Executive Board Member of Society for Information Management (SIM) – New Jersey; Member of ISC2, ISSA, The TechPACT, Forbes Technology Council and Women in Entertainment organizations.

Kay received her Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems / Business Administration from Seton Hall University.
