Sherif is the C2PA product lead at Google, managing the core libraries and infrastructure that all Google products - Search, YouTube, Gemini, Google Photos, Pixel, and more use to integrate the technology. He is also the co-chair of the Conformance Task Force within the C2PA standards organization, which is chartered with ensuring interoperability and trust across the C2PA ecosystem. He has been involved in the media authenticity space since 2018, helping co-found the C2PA organization itself, and sat on its first Steering Committee. Outside of work, he enjoys sailing, fishing, studying the history of near-Eastern religions, and recently became passionate about advancing  his contemporary Neapolitan pizza making skills.
