Andy is an AR pioneer, entrepreneur and advisor in the XR industry. After launching the world's first mobile AR travel guides with Lonely Planet / BBC in 2008, he joined Wikitude's management team as CEO and subsequently as CMO from 2010-2017. Wikitude has grown to become a household name in the XR industry, is among the most widely used AR SDKs worldwide today, and was acquired by Qualcomm in 2021. Andy is now CEO & founder of Mixed-Reality I/O where he is working with selected clients & partners in addition to a few start-up Advisor engagements. He has published multiple articles on various mixed reality and Metaverse topics on TechCrunch, Engadget and The Next Web (TNW). Andy holds an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University.
