Rebecca began her journey with eBay seven years ago, working in data governance where she introduced style guides and localization standards for the English and German markets. From there, she transitioned into the role of Taxonomist within eBay's Motors and Automotive Parts & Accessories Data Intelligence team, which she has been leading since 2019.

In 2022, she expanded her leadership responsibilities to include leading the Motors catalogue work. This experience allowed her to gain knowledge in large data injection, ETL processes, and the introduction and development of automated QA processes. By bringing both the Taxonomists and Data Managers under one umbrella, they were able to align external catalogue data with eBay's own Taxonomy more effectively.

This year, Rebecca is excited to be a part of eBay's Product Knowledge transformation, where they are building an AI-driven Ontology.
