After earning her PhD from Vanderbilt University (French Literature), Bonnie took her research and language skills and pivoted to the world of taxonomy when she joined Indeed's international taxonomy team, where she helped develop occupational taxonomies and jobseeker attributes for the French market. She then worked as a taxonomy team lead, managing teams representing the jobseekers in markets ranging from Belgium to Hong Kong to Sweden. She now works as PayPal's taxonomist for the Knowledge Management and Content Strategy team, where she maintains and implements a content taxonomy to support Help Center content as well as a customer intent taxonomy.
