Jessica is founder and current member of the Patient Insights & Experience team at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research (NIBR). She is committed to embedding the patient perspective in early clinical research by implementing patient engagement strategies across the early phase portfolio.

Jessica is responsible for NIBR’s health literacy efforts in clinical research and is dedicated to applying health literacy principles to help improve patient trust and diversity and inclusion in clinical trials. She directs the creation and implementation of various trial participant communications for early phase trials with the goal of meeting the needs and expectations of trial participants.

Jessica has held various positions over her 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. These include preclinical drug discovery, clinical trial management, monitoring, medical writing, training, and process improvement. She has supported numerous clinical pharmacology and translational medicine studies and submissions across various therapeutic areas.
