The Art of Assessing the Planning Potential of a Site Before Making an Application

Hannah is a Director in the London office of Barton Willmore. Having graduated in Town Planning from Oxford Brookes University, she started her professional career as a Land Buyer for a well-known FTSE 100 housebuilder, before moving into working as a planning consultant first for Environmental Resources Management, and then for Barton Willmore. She benefits from understanding the differing perspectives and pressures within the development process. 

She has had wide-ranging involvement in a mixture of projects covering residential, mixed-use, commercial and leisure projects on behalf of house builders, developers, and public companies. Work has included lead consultant on residential led mixed-use development schemes, site appraisals, negotiation of a variety of planning approvals and S106 agreements, and liaison with Clients, consultant teams, LPA’s, and Counsel.
