John is Managing Director of Christie Finance, part of Christie Group PLC and sister company of Christie & Co - leading advisor for buying and selling operational real estate in the hospitality, retail, medical, care and childcare sectors. Christie Finance acts for a diverse range of borrowers from first time entrants to larger, national operators and international investors.

As an independent finance broker, directly authorised by the FCA, Christie Finance offer a whole of market approach working with an increasingly diverse network of lenders, including traditional high street banks, challenger banks, alternative lenders, niche providers and specialist funds.

Ultimately Christie Finance support borrows to secure the right funding to support their commercial ambitions and provide clients with a full suite of funding services including term mortgages, development funding, unsecured loans and asset finance.

With over 25 years specialist knowledge in the industry, John finds solutions to complex property finance issues and specialises in the provision of senior debt for both operational real estate assets and commercial property investments.

During his career, John has worked with a variety of clients across his specialist sectors, financing care home groups, hotel operators, Michelin-starred restaurants, dental and pharmacy groups as well as supporting many new entrants to business ownership.

Outside the world of commercial finance, John is keen golfer, chef and follows the welsh rugby union team.
