Aurel conducts feasibility and advisory studies for a wide array of hotel projects in the EMEA region. Aurel attended the Hotelschool The Hague in the Netherlands from where he graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Prior to joining CBRE hotels, Aurel worked in both administrative and operational positions at the Intercontinental Berlin. Further practical experience was gained in the strategy department of extrabold, a South- African hotel management company based in Johannesburg.

Aurel’s work includes Buy-Side Advisory, €450m European Hostel Portfolio; Hostel Development Manchester & Leeds; Buy-Side Advisory, €390m European Hotel Portfolio; Ritz Paris, Strategic Advisory, and Mediterranean Market Study which included strategic market research on 10 Mediterranean resort markets to support Starwood’s investment strategy.
