Jeremy is a Senior Director in the Planning Division in Savills. He sits on the Divisional Board, the Regional Boards for Manchester and Leeds offices, and the Sector Board for Education. He is Head of Planning for North England and National Head of the Retail Planning Team. He has considerable experience in a wide variety of planning matters, and leads multi-disciplinary teams for large-scale and complex projects. He has advised a number of schools, colleges and universities across the education spectrum, including for example the universities of Cambridge, Surrey and Lincoln. He also advises schools in the Independent sector, including King’s School Macclesfield, Stockport Grammar School and Charterhouse School. A common theme affecting many of the proposals over which he has advised is resolving conflict between the development requirements of the organisations he represents, with environmental protection policies such as green belt, that are designed to protect areas from development. Jeremy has gained a pedigree of expertise in developing the strategies required to deliver the needs of the organisations he represents, whilst addressing wider public concerns over the impact and suitability of the development in the light of environmental concerns.
