Cyber Resilience for the Built Environment

Cyber-attacks are part of every-day life, with 32% of UK businesses reporting an attack in 2023 and cyber incidents, like the recent Ministry of Defence data breach, frequently making headlines.

To counter these attacks, many of us fulfil a vital role, whether knowingly or unknowingly, in defending our personal and corporate environments. Complex passwords are a given; multi-factor authentication is used by millions and many of the businesses we engage with have cyber insurance in place.

However, less understood is the threat posed to and by the buildings we invest in, manage, work in, live in and visit.

This webinar covers:

  • The implications of our increasing reliance on technology to operate our built environment – what this means for the buildings we inhabit and manage.
  • The role property consultants, asset managers, developers and investors are expected to play in managing cyber risk.
  • Current cyber market trends and the evolution of cyber insurance cover for business interruption and property risk.

Members of the British Property Federation Cyber Working Group provide essential insight into cyber risk, regulation, and insurance, and answer your questions.
