Terentia Community Connect: Digitization Support from the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR)

February 6, 2:05 PM EST

Working to preserve rare or unique digital assets? Learn about the digitization regranting programs offered by the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR).

During this 20-minute session, program officers Sharon Burney and Alyson Pope will provide overviews of two CLIR initiatives:

  • Recordings at Risk – Supporting the preservation of at-risk audio, audiovisual, and time-based media of high scholarly value
  • Digitizing Hidden Collections: Amplifying Unheard Voices – Increasing public access to historically underrepresented collections

Funding is available for eligible American and Canadian institutions to fortify their digital preservation efforts. Through these programs, many museums have successfully enhanced the care, visibility, and longevity of invaluable collections.

Discover the projects funded by CLIR’s Recordings at Risk and Digitizing Hidden Collections.

This TechLab is proudly presented by Terentia.
