Aruna Bhaugeerutty, Head of Digital Collections at the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, will talk about transforming the digital collections infrastructure at the oldest public museum in the United Kingdom.
The aim: to implement new systems for collections management, digital asset management and the publication of collections online.
The result: an expansion to all Oxford University museums, through a divisional Digital Strategy Implementation Programme, to deliver a new era of digital access to the collections for research discovery and public engagement. We’ll hear more about their transition from a project to a service for all, and what’s next.
