Camilo Torres

Design Operations Lead

NatWest Group

Camilo is the Design Operations Lead for NatWest Bank’s Retail banking division. Previously Camilo worked at Lloyds Banking Group for 11 years, in their Group Digital function. He started in digital operations where he worked on two significant projects, the integration of Halifax Bank and the creation of TSB Bank. Camilo then decided to make a leap of change and joined Lloyds’ newly formed Human-Centred Design capability. At NatWest, he has built the DesOps team from one (himself) to a team of 5 that supports 66 designers. His team is dedicated to creating an efficient and effective environment that maximises the design team’s potential.
