Jose Coronado is a recognized Design and Operations leader. His experience spans across different industries including financial services, management consulting, retail and enterprise technology. He helps UX teams amplify their impact and companies maximize the business value of investing in design. 

Most recently, at Target, he built the UX Strategy & Operations practice from the ground up hiring design leaders and contributors, and establishing business processes to support the growth of the practice. Before coming to the retail industry, Jose was the Executive Director, Design Operations at JPMorgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank where helped scale the Design organization and build the DesignOps practice from the ground up. 

As a consultant, his work includes organizations like McKinsey, Accenture, Aquent, Bain Capital, and AIG among others. Jose’s career includes leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies like ADP, Oracle and AT& T. Jose is found frequently in the international speaking stage and as a workshop facilitator.

Jose earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, and a Master of Fine Arts in Design from the University of Kansas.
