Josh joined Google in 2008 and is currently Head of Production for the BrandUnit, a multi-disciplined creative team within Google that partners with brands and agencies to exploit the creative and innovative potential of YouTube and Google. He manages a team of Interactive Producers that are tasked with creating, planning, building, and launching large -scale brand programs for Google’s top advertisers. Prior to working at Google, Josh spent a decade with The Walt Disney Company where he supervised various production teams for both Disney Online (1999-2006) and ABC Family (2006-2008). While at Disney he led digital work for a variety of internal Disney business units including Disney Channel, Radio Disney, and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online, among several others.
Before that, he learned the digital ropes at USWeb/CKS and NBC Digital Productions during the “Friends” and “ER” heyday of primetime broadcast television. He began his career at Paramount Digital Entertainment as a college intern where he did photo touch-up for Star Trek imagery and input hundreds of celebrity birthdays into a Filemaker Pro database for the launch of Entertainment Tonight Online. Josh graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Interactive Entertainment & Multimedia. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children.
