DAM San Diego 2019

John DeMarco started his career as a film photographer, but his inner nerd compelled him to invest in the first version of Adobe Photoshop and then, hired by 3M, create the first fully digital photography studio in the Midwest. John has experienced the implementation of three consecutive DAM systems at the company.  A series of other positions at the company have always kept him in the digital sphere, with website development, product information management, and process improvement the main focus. He has worked on the implementation of the systems as an Agile Product Owner for DAM and Product Information Management, and currently works with his business counterparts to truly activate the technology and processes within the business and provide the in person mentorship to the users and strategists within the businesses at 3M to fully realize the potential that the discipline can bring to their businesses.
