Caterina Bonfiglio is a seasoned Marketer with a passion for Learning and Development. Currently serving as Global Learning & Development Director at Danone, she oversees the development of 50,000 Danone learners across Operations, Research & Innovation, Procurement, and Quality and Food Safety.

Caterina’s journey began during her university years when she was a trainer on soft skills within the global organization AIESEC. After several commercial roles, she transitioned from HR and L&D roles at Canon Europa to the dynamic world of Digital Marketing. During the following 15 years, she has led numerous Digital Marketing transformation projects at both Canon and Danone. Her expertise spans website development, SEO, CRM, Loyalty generation, Social Media campaigns, Direct marketing, and eCommerce.

Caterina then returned to her L&D roots, focusing on Digital upskilling for all Marketers in the Specialized Nutrition division at Danone. She later widened her scope by joining the Danone Academy team, where she held different L&D roles to support IT & Data and Commercial teams. In her current role, Caterina spearheads the development of Danone employees worldwide, emphasizing customer centricity and user experience, driving impactful learning programs by drawing on her unique blend of Marketing mindset and business acumen.
