Collaborating for Inclusion: Strategies for Supporting Diverse Learners

The global fight against COVID-19 showed us the essential role that collaboration plays in tackling complex challenges.
 
At the University of British Columbia (UBC), collaboration is key to ensuring that we're meeting the needs of all learners. By working together, we share knowledge, skills, and resources to create a more accessible and inclusive learning environment. Through a more coordinated approach we create teaching and learning environments where all students, faculty members and staff feel welcome, supported, and engaged regardless of their backgrounds, experiences, or abilities.
 
In this session, Afsaneh Sharif, Faculty Liaison/Senior Project Manager with the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology at the UBC, will share how they collaborate for inclusion and share strategies for supporting diverse learners.
