A comprehensive online series of briefings chaired by Trevor Ivory, UK Head of Planning at DLA Piper UK LLP, with contributions from leading planning specialists.  The focus of the briefings is on deregulation of planning policy, the salient White Paper changes and the opportunities being created in the build, build, build resurgence.


Sign up for the series and receive the following:

  • Four detailed sessions to update, review and interpret the changes to:
    • Planning and COVID-19 – the Business and Planning Act 2020
    • CIL and s106
    • Permitted development rights – the challenges and the opportunities for construction and development
    • Planning reform and the White Paper – what’s known now and what’s likely to change
    • Site growth areas and opportunities being created in first home developments
    • Change of use reclassifications – what’s possible now and what the changes mean for development opportunities
    • Listed Building Consent and Heritage Assets – understanding the full implications of the White Paper
  • No important area will be overlooked – all interpretation will be intensely practical and relevant to real world market conditions
  • Sessions of 75 minutes each, including answers to questions from participants on the challenges they are facing and on the opportunities being created.  Sessions start at 10.00am and run to 11.15am
  • Unable to attend all sessions or joining partway through?  Recordings will be available for all registrants
